Why haste is destructive

Haste means to complete a task or act quickly, which is not considered good. Or to get things done before they are supposed to. However, equity and balance are considered good qualities in one's life, which is why even the creation of the human body is the best example of equity and balance.

Haste is a curse; look at the tragic deaths of thousands of people daily worldwide caused by traffic accidents, and may include damage to public and private properties.

There is poor discipline in people's lives. For example, people do not form a line or queue. Third-world countries are badly affected by this curse as they lack education and awareness, and people do not abide by the rules.

Due to our personal and national interests or influence from others, we form opinions or plans quickly. Pakistan's founder once said, "Think 100 times before you take a decision, But once that decision is taken, stand by it as a man."

Lastly, the following are the five tasks which need to be done quickly, contrary to haste:

  1. To seek forgiveness from God.
  2. To pay off debts and loans.
  3. To get married.
  4. To bury the deceased.
  5. To offer food to the guests.
