There is an uncanny trend in our society that we bluntly ignore the consequences of our acts. In this universe, reward and punishment always exist, and our actions leave a noticeable mark on society.
As you sow, so shall you reap.
Only wise and conscious people learn lessons from their acts and what the past teaches them; this is called Retribution.
Upon pondering the glorious Holy Script, "The Quran", we shall realize that Allah grants reward or punishment based on our acts or deeds. Our illicit and adverse actions will bring nuisance, agitation, and turmoil, and we will face the music for our actions. It is a clear sign that we should learn from such acts and refrain from committing them.
In the Holy Quran, the last verse of Chapter Yusuf A.S, "Joseph." Allah said, "Indeed, in the stories of the past, there is a lesson for men of understanding."
Let's look at the Anecdote of Bani Israel, "Children of Israel", when Firaun "Pharaoh." agreed to bring faith in Allah when he was drowning in the sea, but Allah rejected his supplication. Then Allah said, "So this day, We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)."
Further, Allah discussed Pharaoh's punishment and said, "Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah."
We shall learn that it clearly warns humankind that Pharaoh's fate in this world is a sign of caution for those who fear Allah.
In several places of the Holy Scripture, "The Quran." Allah has discussed the fate of different nations (People of Noah, People of Aad, People of Samood "Thamud", The Pharaoh, People of Luth, and People of Madyan) who disobeyed Him, and He punished them for their wrongdoings so we can learn from this warning.
Before it's too late, it is wise to prepare ourselves, earn good deeds, and learn from others' mistakes and punishments.
Once upon a time, people asked Prophet Abraham A.S why Allah does not accept our prayers. He replied that you people bury your near ones and relatives with your hands, in the earth, yet do not learn from the admonition.
