It is not strange to note that even the most well-mannered and learned people lack the sense of foresight, sobriety and statesmanship. They are unaware of their goals and objectives for their lives.

Foresightedness is the ability to dig deep into the matter and, through one's knowledge and wisdom, identify the problem and lay the future course of action.

Discipleship (not referred to as a follower of Christianity) is the opposite of contemplation and diminishes curiosity & conduct in one's heart, and gradually the person unintentionally leans towards foolishness.

The Holy Scripture "The Quran" invites foresightedness, and as the scripture is divine, it offers new ways for humanity's progression till the day of judgement.

It is acceptable to learn new skills and gain knowledge from our forefathers; however, each new generation is much more knowledgeable and possesses more information than its predecessors. Therefore, it is essential to hold the divine script and learn the quality of foresightedness from it.

If we ponder our history, God has blessed us with knowledge and wisdom, which was used to invent new things that revolutionize this world. However, only a few of us were able to materialize this knowledge, and most of them took the path of discipleship, resulting in mental fatigue and the loss of intelligence.

The Holy Scripture "The Quran" refers to foresightedness on multiple occasions, and God said that "This book "The Quran" is a highly propitious book which was descended to the final messenger "Muhammad" so that people can ponder upon the verses and learn from it.

Further, God says in His book "The Quran" Chapter 47, Verse 24, "Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts?

Therefore, it means that those who do not study and ponder upon the verses of the Quran lose foresightedness and intelligence, not capable of captivating the universe.

If we ponder the current Muslim generation, it is evident that they are far behind the developed nations due to a lack of enough knowledge and foresight.

Therefore, by complying with the Holy Quran's guidance, Muslims or any other nation can regain their lost place in knowledge and wisdom and recover the lost time.
